All natural dyes used in colour products to create a unique dye pattern and variation within each creation. Baskets can be squished, folded, or thrown in your suitcase for any adventure. Simply add water and the basket will regain it's original form!
The baskets are made by Elephant grass. Elephant grass grows surrounding water holes in the Sahel region of West Africa. It is harvested by the Fra Fra people of Northern Ghana, soaked and stretched to produce a fine, supple, and extra strong fibre.
Supporting these items helps maintain the time-honoured craft of weaving and long-existing fair trade relationship.
