Echinocactus grusonii, also known as the Golden Ball Cactus, is a funky globe-shaped succulent.
A deep green color, the Barrel Cactus gets its “Golden Ball” pseudonym due to the yellow spikes that grow over it. This gives it a golden hue. The spikes are sharp!
The Golden Barrel Cactus does best outside and needs around 6 hours of direct sunlight to thrive a day. Drought tolerant, it needs minimal water. Water sparingly.
A free draining sandy/stone or cacti / succulent mix is best.
